Hi all.....wanna 1st say what a great porgy gameEx is...anyway im using the lastest version and I had vidoes enabled but was having issues with the screensaver when it went to vidoes clips it would just to a black screen so I turned off the video mode in the screen saver section(in advanced stup). now I have no video option in the multimedia section. Ive been through the advanced setup and made sure everything is enabled but still no good! I dont wanna re-install if I can help it as ive been through 7000 roms removing the crap, so any help would be great

Wow! If you've deleted that many games from your setup (via the delete game function in GameEx), I would definitely make a copy of your gameex.ini file. If you ever have to start over, you can grab the list of filtered roms from that file and manually copy it into the new config if needed.

I can't help with the video problem, sorry. Perhaps you could post your log.txt file and your gameex.ini file. That might help someone figure out what's going on.

Thanks for you reply I will copy the .ini file and re-install. also If I register my copy of gameEX and wanna update my computer can I use it on the new computer? Also the computer does'nt have internet access so is it just a matter of a reg key?

Hi guys..im have the same problem again...I re-installed and I had videos but after some tweaking and removining games I no longer have videos <_< also when It goes to screen saver I also have anoying info of the game at the bottem of the screen, How do I get rid of this?
