PCSX2 wrapper?

I can't ever seem to set this emulator up in GameEx (or any FE for that matter). Does anyone know of a way? I know most PS2 emulation require a monster PC but my little budget build easily handles games like Capcom Fighting Jam and others like Kingdom Hearts with minimal lag.

Shouldn't be too hard to set this up. Perhaps I can take a looksey at it. I mainly have not spent too much time on it as emulation is far from playable on my pc.

Ok well I knocked something up really quick on my end. I have built this around the official 0.9.4 release. This will not work with the SVN builds.

Usage.

Pcsx2_Launcher.exe "[rompath]\[romfile]"

Notes: This has only been tested with ISO format images. This will change your INI to use the linuzcd plugin. This should not affect your graphics plugin

Important. Copy the loader to the same folder your pcsx2.exe is located.

Oh ya. Disable MAP keys in gameex config for this emu. It needs to see ESC being pressed so it kills the application correctly. Gameex will only kill the process which is my loader otherwise.

Tested on XP only.

Please if you use other FE's and want to post this solution on other forums only link to this thread.

It's all good. I actually don't mind this being shared. I just like the traffic to be routed through here rather than the file uploaded elsewhere.

Hey Brian i used your launcher and it works great thank you! But i was wondering if you knew how to make it launch the emu in fullscreen? it starts it in a window? any ideas? Thanks

Thanks! I am glad you like it!

It does launch fullscreen for me but that may be becuse I configured PCSX to run in full screen mode. Try messing around in the options I am at work and dont have access to my dev pc.

Hmmm well the only option the emu has is to stwich it to full screen with alt/enter. you can check a box in the potions but nothing happens...

Gameex has the ability to send keys... Perhaps have gameex send ALT+ENTER

In the advanced config. In the emulator settings there is a area for send keys. There is a help button that will point you to a resource that will gove you the VK codes needed to send ALT+enter.. It may look like %{enter} but dont quote me.

Then it will ask for a wait.. Eg give the emu long enough time to load before gameex sends the key strokes.
