hey im just wounder if i use that command alt+f4 to quit the emulator is that the same thing as going to task manager and ending procces becouse some emulators dont save till they are exited the right way like zsnesw doesnt save if exit it with gamex with esc but when i exit the right way with snes it saves

The newest builds of GameEx have an advanced config that addresses this very issue. You can configure them to press a key sequence instead of just killing the task.

I think I tried Alt-F4 in Zsnes and it didn't work (but who knows, I was addressing a few different problems with sending keys to ZSnes at the time). There is an option in the key config where you can specify a key to exit.

alt+f4 is just a standard shortcut for windows apps - if an app supports it, its the same as clicking the cross in the top right corner. however, many emulators do not have standard shortcuts and you may need to send a different key(s). it is possible to hack (most) executables to add shortcuts to ANY menu item, and then send these keys with gameex.

zSNES you would either start with -m to exit on ESC or send Q, normally.
