Hi

As i say, i've got some problems that i never had before a lot of updates.. :

A lot of PC games wich are set up as *.lnk link in the rom option and some of Visual Pinball Tables are closed about 5 second after the game is launched

Is there any strong changes in the lastest update that can make this??

I know that Gameex 9.71 was workin' fine....

I've got a text-to-speech engine that works with Gamex, and when i try to launch a game like PC or VpinballGames i heard " GameOver" after 5 seconds then the game is still here and gameex is still on background....quite annoying

So i just have to press Ctrl+Alt+Suppr to close all processes.............

Edit : Some Problems With GENS too........

Anyone Knowns This problem?????

Depending on the plugin you are using it may say "Game Over" ince the process ends that gameex is watching.

After launching a Genesis game and it fails. Use the RUNLASTGAME.bat from the program files>gameex and see if it works correctly. This should help troubleshoot.

I've run the RUNLASTGAME.bat and it works well

In fact, i have the problem with all my emulators but it appears randomly

I've tested to run a game through gameex

The first time it crashes after about 10 seconds,so i've relaunched it and the second one it runs normally!

I don't know where is the problem....

I had problem with things crashing at random, and it was the Speech Plugin. I didn't know it, but I had a trial version of some different voices, and it expired, so everytime Gameex tried to use random speech, it would crash.

BTW, i've tried to disable the speech engine -> do the same things

So i've tried to uninstall Gameex and reinstall the complete downloaded version -> do the same things....

The only thing i can do now i think if noone had this problem is to COMPLETELY uninstall Gameex & ini files to restart with an empty config........

I don't want to do that because it takes some times to reconfigure it.........but it's my only solution for now.....

Post your log after a crash.

There is nothing in the log that helps to understand what the problem is

The last line of the log is just the command line to launch the emulator, so no sign of an emulator crash or a return to gamex........

Bizarre....

I think you know this, but if it runs everytime from runitgame.bat, then it's something GameEx is doing, hopefully something in your config. Try clearing everything out of your config that is not needed, Art paths, launch before/after, map file, database, etc. leaving only the roms path, working dir, emulator.exe, and the command line just to see if it fixes it.

I've made a more radical solution and now it works great

I've completely uninstall gameex and restart from the beginning

I wil add emulators and features ono by one and see if it still works

I don't know why Gameex suddently had those problems..........
