Having trouble launching games

I am new to GameEx and am trying to get it up and running. I've run into a little problem though with launching the games. They seem to load completely, then right after I am returned to the game description page. This happens with every one I have tried. I downloaded MAME32 through the setup wizard, and then also downloaded the most recent MAME build and set its path through the advanced configuration utility. I would really appreciate some help because I am looking forward to having fun with this. I am not sure how to get a log file, so if it is needed for you guys to figure out the problem, please let me know how to get one to put up here. Thanks so much!

Set your mame rom settings like this:

Make sure and use "only existing roms" and update the list when done...
