Is there a way we could use the name in the new databases to help with snap/videos/artwork location?

Right now I know Gameex looks for an exact match for the filename, then does a fuzzy search if the filename doesn't exist. This still has lots of wrong videos showing up. Now that the new databases have all three naming conventions in it we could use that to help find artwork. Could it be changed to first look for the filename, then use the database names (since most artwork is going to be in one of the big three naming formats), then last do a fuzzy search?

This is something that Tom did think about a while back when work first started on the new databases, and I do agree it could be a handy addition. I'm sure Tom has not forgotten, but perhaps just put it on the back burner for now.

It is certainly something worthy of a post in the feature requests.

I'll add it there then
