Hi All.

Got a registered version and was wondering if there is anyone else running GameEx on a Tri Res Monitor. My Arcade cab is set to 31khz 640x480, input via VGA connector.

The monitor is in Vertical position.. Was seeing if anyone had a recommended Video Display set up?

I have GameEx set to 90 degree angle, if I shell out to Windows it's then on it's side, so I use Windows Display driver to also switch to 90 degrees, problem when doing this (screen is at 480 x 640) it complains with this message (Resolution is not equal orelse greater than 632 x 264. Exiting) can this check be turned off????

Cheers!

Did you get your question answered? There's a couple users that post regularly that have vertical setups, so perhaps they can help.

I run GameEx in vertical mode on my EGRET II. But I don't have a dedicated computer for GameEx (I will, but that's in the repair shop) yet, so I don't run Windows rotated, I just let GameEx rotate. And I don't run it in 480p, but in 480i, so I don't get any warnings. What is your video chip, AVI, nVidia or other? I'm running Omega drivers on an ATI 9700 onboard chip (Laptop) for your reference. Unless you use your computer for other stuff than GameEx, I see no reason to run Windows in tate mode.
