Hi, for some reason I cant get GamEx to launch NullDC anymore....I'm pretty positive it's not my config. ( I just got a new PC) (It was actually working the first couple times.....but then i messed with some setting "within" NullDc itself trying to configure joystick)

BEFORE the problem started:

GamEx had no problem launching NullDC if "oustide" of GamEX, I launched NullDC on its own and I got a error saying (default image "failed to load")

as long as i got that error right when i open/launch (double-click on the application) NullDC "outside" of GamEX , GamEx had no problems....

but for some reason now when i open NullDc outside of GamEx i dont get that error anymore....EVEN if i have Options > Use Default Image checked off......i wont get that error.

I only get the error if i "manually" try to boot something....but i wont get that error "by default" just opening NullDC anymore....

i may be wrong but that was the one thing i definitely noticed as the difference between when it worked and now that it doesn't work...

that i dont get that error anymore when i launch NullDC outside of GameEx anymore....

Now i just get a blank black screen within GameEx if i launch NullDc

My Command Line does read: nullDC_100b1_6.exe -config ImageReader:DefaultImage="[rompath]/[romfile]"

pls help! thx

Delete the nulldc.cfg file in the install directory. Then re-run the emulator. This will create a nin corrupted config, Then open it in note pad and enable

Emulator auto start 1

Fullscreen 1

Load default image = 1

There a numerous threads here about what to edit. This will get you back in order :)

Brian, everything works fine........until i enable a joystick and change my audio setting to 2048.

then the default load error goes away and the nullDC.cfg file is totally blank after that......Or it will lose the settings i just saved for audio and joystick

u think something is corrupted?

i just tried it again...the .cfg file keeps clearing itself out that its totally blank. i tihnk this is what happened to me the last time u helped me a few months ago / last yr? It was because my bios got corrupted somehow.

what do you think?

Yeah could be.

Id set the file to read-only.

See if that helps

i was able to single it out to 1 thing...its when i enable the port A NullDc Controller dll:0

....thats when everything gets screwed up it seems. I was able to get it to keep the sound at 2048 w/ no problem now. i even grabbed a fresh set of bios and and still have the problem when enabling the NullDc Controller

let me try the read only thing and see what happens

Anyone know why everytime I start a game in NullDC i have to set the date every time?

Also, how do you hide the mouse pointer?

thx

Got your pm

adding the hide mouse would be added to the loader. As far as the other its either bad bios or config. or both

rly? but everything runs just fine....only 1 thing different though. I got the Orange Swirl (USA) now instead of the blue....

orange is USA (or ntsc reigons) Bule is japan (PAL)

Pal games play at 50fps aka 50hz

NTSC games run at 60fps or HZ

You may notice the games play faster. :)
