I am trying to emulate 3DO using Freedo but I am getting choppy sound. Have tried version 1.9 and 1.8 with the same problem, any ideas?

same with mine i have very fast cpu and maxed out the memory ,but its still does have a skippy knda feel and the sound is pretty lousy

Its running fine here. Just tried Dragons Lair and Guardian War (ISOs) in full screen.

System Spec

Amd 64 3200+ (Win XP 32)

2Gb Ram

Nvidia 7200GS (PCIe)

Onboard 7.1 Sound

FreeDo 1.7

I hear ya... I got dual core with 4 gigs of ram.

Maybe it is a 64bit issue?

Public Beta V1.6.2 is what you want.

It runs the best for me so far on Vista 64 however not at full screen. In a window, there is no choppy sound and it seems to run smooth but at FS, for get about it. As this does suck, it is better than in the other versions where the sound was choppy all of the time. Give it a try and let me know how you make out with it.
