RF Remote

It is a shot in the dark but here it goes....

I guess I should have done my research. I thought it looked like a decent MCE remote clone and works alright on GameEx, except for two problems:

1) It has a mouse pad, but no direction buttons. Does GameEx support the ability to navigate up/down based on mouse movements? (e.g. you move the mouse slightly up, it will select the option above). The mouse pad is not the most comfortable to use on the remote. It would be nice if i could somehow hack it to emulate keypresses for up/down/left/right instead of mouse move up/down/left/right.

2) When you press go once it acts as if it presses and holds the mouse down, when you press it again it releases.

Is there anything I can do to get around these two problems? I would buy a new one but my finances are somewhat tight at the moment.

This RF remote did not come with any drivers, and I am unable to find any either.

Most of the buttons work in gameex. Does anyone have this remote, and if so if any drivers are available for it?

Bkenobi and I have been discussing two different Scripts for converting mouse movements to keystrokes. If his works for you, you should use that one, because his will work on both the X and Y axis'. Mine is only for the X axis, but could be changed to include the Y axis. So far as the button press, that could probably be handled by a script as well...

This looks exactly be what I needed. I'm busy until this saturday, and i'll give it a try. I'll write up a script for the mouse clicking problem. Actually, I found out that there are 3 buttons on the remote, an L, go, and R button. L left clicks, R right clicks, and Go clicks and holds. Pretty interesting.

I tested your autohotkey script out. It worked PERFECTLY for me. I may have to use it to bind some of the buttons correctly (e.g. the go-button problem), but it should be pretty easy to do.
