Hope this may be of some help :huh:

had lots of fun recreating the jet flame... May need a tidy round the edges a bit, depending on background used..

I've now changed this theme to be separate backgrounds instead so you can place them in any theme you like and set the background in your Emulator setup. Copy the backgrounds into your theme's MEDIA f

That looks brilliant! But forgive my stupidity, who is the character and what system is it for?

I will fix up the edges no problem, in fact all the artwork I find I cut out freehand using the marquee tool. There is no way to get the edges right using the magic marquee. I'm very much a perfectionist when it comes to things like that, kinda like how you are with the databases ;)

EDIT: I'm guessing it's JetPackWilly?

It is JetPac. One of the first arcade shooters on the spectrum. It is a top 10 game from the Speccy archives..

Should not need much tidying up. the artwork has a slight glow around it that was in the original.

I dont use the magic wand either.

I do have a Pikachu already cut out actually, just haven't found a system for it yet.

Guessing you haven't heard that in America the word 'Pikachu' is being used as slang for a certain lady part? :lol:

What the hell is wrong with Japanese people! I mean first they have those freaky games like "I'm Sorry", then they have children blow up toys where the kids jump in Pikachu's cuchie! Wait, I always assumed Pikachu was a boy... :wacko:

To be fair mate, my involvement was post-derailment. Like a train going over a cliff - the derailment itself is just when the train leaves its tracks. I just introduced the cliff into proceedings :P

I am so looking forward to this. My cab is almost finished and a new theme would be ace. Because of the monitor in my cab I can only use 640x480 so my options are limited. This is perfect.

Unless someone has already sugessted this could you include the Super Gameboy as an added console. I already have this setup in my current GameEx config. If any of you are using the No-intro gameboy roms then look for all the ones that have after there name. These are all Super Gameboy compatible. You can then setup visual boy advance to display borders on all games that feature them. I realise this is only a small amount of games (i have around 70 that use it). But it is still cool none the less.

Keep up the good work and hope to see this soon.

Not to [totally] derail the thread again but I almost forgot my pikachu comment and didn't get in on the fun. MightyP, that picture IS wrong and yet hilarious. :) The slang meaning was popularized by Chelsea Handler a U.S. comedian with her own late night show on the E network.

See Urban Dictionary definition 6.

I'm in the same boat as you guys (Pass the SeaWater please).

My Cab's been done for a couple of weeks, but I cannot find a decent 640*480 theme for GameEx that I like.

I've tried using MameWah, but could not figure out how to get it configured correctly.

I'm looking very much to trying out this theme.

I haven't even tried V3 themes and there's already V4 in the works?! :blink:

Hehe Tom likes to trick people with his theme versions, V4 themes are just V3 themes that can be edited in the Theme Editor. I've improved the Theme Editor alot so make it easier to use and now you can convert any version over to V2 or V4 theme.
