Game EX not showing all mame roms?

I have game EX running on my laptop and it runs well, I can select 4000 ish roms I have.

I installed it (game EX) on my desktop that will be my MAME Machine guts today and have run into a problem.

On my desktop, Game EX only shows like 78 roms? WTF?. I have the directory pointing to the right folder (X20 checked) This folder has 4000 ish roms in it....why is game EX only showing 78??

Newer bulilds of mame has list.xml broken... Thus jacked game lists.

Use an older build Last major release... Or wait for 126

Sorry to be such a newb, but what do you mean by "broke it twice"?

I just got it working with MAME32Pro Special! 0.106, which IIRC is special as it runs CPS3 games like SF3.

Official builds of mame 117 and up run CPs3 also...

Oh yeah... by broke it twice Im referring to the list.xml.. Mame will generate a game list in xml format... This is what was broke
