hello. once again i turn for help from the great people of the Gameex Forums!

i have a mame machine running XP. Nividia 6600 256mb. the monitor is a Happ Vision Pro 27" vga CRT (brand new)

i have gameex start up automatically launhed from windowzzz.

(here is what happens)

computer starts up and the black windows loading screen shows up. then the monitor goes out of range (i am assuming that is because the desktop appears for a second) until Gameex starts up automatically. the resolution looks fine, and gameex functions perfectly. but when i start a mame rom, the monitor then says "out of range" again.

anyone have any ideas?

here is what i tried already:

800x600 70 hertz

800x600 60 hertz

800x600 56 hertz

640x480 60 hertz

PLEASE HELP!!!

thanks again

post your mame.ini please. I have a feeling you may need to enforce aspect ratios and resolutions
