Tom,

Is there any way the emulator image paths could be made standard across all emulators.

In mame we have the option of Flyers, but not in other emu's - I have a large collection of scanned game adverts that would be great to look at when picking a game. This would be ideal as a Flyers option in the emulator ini...?

I use box to display CD fronts, is there anyway I could also have an option to display CD case rears without using photoshop on every image to merge them with the fronts.?

I also use the heading Cartridges as a way of displaying the acual game CD's.

Could emulator options have these paths added?

Flyers

CD - Front

CD - Rear

CD

I know I go on, but would other users like these options?

Oh... Did i mention the idea for general region/hack/prototype icons?? :)

I always though these should just have the ability to be renamed. That way a person could call the related art elements whatever they wanted. Could also use a couple additional slots, 5 rather than the 3 (title,box,cartridge) would be good.

You should be able to rename them. Select "custom" as your language, and have a ball...I know it can be done in mame, I haven't tried it with other emulators.

I like art, do you guys really have that much for each emulator? Is there one or two good places to get Box, Title, and Cart Art?

I have Circo's Emumovies for screenshots/videos.

I have Circo's Emumovies for screenshots/videos.

I understand you can rename them, but if i rename Carts to CD's, this affects the other emu's. What would be nice is to have the ability to add your own artwork/snap paths. I personally would like to have one called REVIEWS as (i must have too much spare time) i have a large collection of dreamcast reviews from magazines as jpegs. These are all correctly named and would be great to be able to see what praise/panning a game you just played recieved in it's day. This would also help regards the ratings people would like to see.

The major thing about gameex is it is not just a simple launcher for a handful of emulators, it is a repository for all things emulated. Gameex is a wonderful tool to bring together nostalgic collections of a mis-spent youth. I love to have an emulator completely set up with Vidsnaps, Titles, Cases, Full database entrys, Cd's, Manuals, Carts, ETC. It is a joy to find a game and have all related material associated with it. I spend many many hours collating the infomation and scans. And it is always a pleasure to see the end results.

I would just like to have a bit more flexibility in what Gameex displays for each rom. This can only be a benefit to all collectors (for surely that is what we all are?)

I repeat "I LIKE ART"...without art, I don't need Gameex...well, almost. Mybe Tom could donate the space for people to upload artwork.

I would like to see more flexibility in everything Gameex does. I'm still waiting for the day when I can arrange the menus the way I like...Maybe I should try that bribing thing? :P
