So after taking some time to get nulldc going and browsing a couple hundred reviews on Gamespot I came up with a pretty short list of DC games that I actually want on my cab. Bare in mind that I'm not into playing long (think RPG, Strategy or Platformer) games on my cab, pretty much just quick fun games like fighters or some of the driving/shooter games. My DC highlights are below.

SoulCalibur (of course!)

Ready to Rumble 1&2

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (not 1 since the mame version seems better)

Some of the other fighters like Virtua Fighter, DOA, Streetfighter II

Streetfighter III (although the CPS3 version also seems better and I can't get the screen size to emulate well)

SF Rush 2099

Couldn't get Blitz 2000 to emulate but I'd like to :(

Sonic Adventures 1 & 2

If you're a Dreamcast junkie, Let me know what I've missed, seems like a short list.

Oh yeah, I forgot to include Crazi Taxi 1 & 2 on my list. Here's a couple other I forgot or am considering:

Mortal Kombat Gold

Anyone tried Wacky Races?

Powerstone 2

Tech Romancer (mame v probably better)

Worms Armageddon

Thought about Gauntlet Legends but it got a 4.2 from Gamespot so I'm a little wary but maybe I'll give it a try.

Good to hear Blitz emulates well on n64, haven't set that one up yet but I'll probably be asking this same question again for n64 games when I do. At 700mb+ a pop you've gotta be selective. :)

i loooove track and field! i know thats not a very popular game, but among my friends it's definatley the most played game. riddle games rule!

other good games are:

rez

samba de amigo

bust a move (puzzle bobble 4 in mame)

Virtua Tennis (still the best tennis simulation in my point of view)

shenmue 2

i thought about setting up nulldc but the console is right next to my cabinet... i only have to hook it up again.... i'm just too lazy for that though!

There's no such thing as a DC game that sucks! I can't imagine anyone suggesting otherwise... :o

Actually, as big a fan as I am of the DC, I personally though Shenmu sucked goat balls...but maybe I'm alone on that one B)

Well maybe 'sucks' is a harsh word, except apparently when it comes to Shenmu and goat balls. I'm sure the majority of DC games are great, just not for me to stand and play at my cab.

Thanks for the feedback kenobi and chriss.

Yeah, there are some that work much better than others on a cab. The thing is that most DC games that you would consider playing in a cab were arcade ports. So, you probably have no need to run them via a DC emulator. This is a big reason why some people mod cabs to run a real DC instead of putting in a PC!

Man..you HAVE to put Ikaruga on your cab...Great frantic action, nice graphics and a lot of fun ideas in the gameplay.

Check it out,

A whole thread, yet no one mentioned Space Channel 5 and Jet Grind Radio? How sad... :(

I agree both of those are great games as well. I'm mostly setting up Nulldc to run fighting games that Mame doesn't fully support yet and games that are fun on the cabinet :D What about Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 and Sonic Shuffle? I'm sure they've already been mentioned.
