Unfortunately Using the default setting for Media Center interaction (exit) disables the ability for MCE to communicate with an Extender. (Specifically a Linksys DMA2100). If changing the setting to no interaction, or Pause the problem goes away. The problem is that for those of us using a remote control focus will always revert to the media center interface when any button on the remote is used. Is there any way this can be addressed?

Im not able to test this, but is the media extender service enabled and running on your machine? I would not think closing media center should stop the extender service. Does it do the same thing if you just close media center normally?

Yes the service is active. I did some more testing. If I have my extender up and running, and load gameex via windows (not launched from media center) GameEx hangs, the media extender disconnects, and then the media center interface loads, and the extender can be reconnected. It didn't look like the service stopped. As for exiting media center normally, the extender stays connected, as the service is still active. Very strange.
