Just wondering how many Chds are playable

I can play only the Killer Instincts games I was reading somewhere that you would need

a REALLY POWERFUL COMPUTER and that some of them might never be able to be played.

any thoughts?

I think eventually they'll all be playable but for now i think you would need a fairly heavy machine, remember a post where someone would get a fair amount of games to run at "full speed" on his quad-core pc

I hate to think of having to buy a new compuer for a few games

BUT they are awesome.

It all depends on what floats your boat. If you like the games enough, you can either get a new super computer or you could just buy the boards for the games and use a JAMMA adapter to play them for real. I've seen it done both ways.

Personally, I would just wait till typical computing power is up to the task to step up. I'm not even sure that the MAMEdevs have verified these games work correctly since they may not even have the machines to try them...

I agree I was reading on the mame forum that for some of the games to work properly you would the equivilent of a 20 ghz processor

I dont know if he was being a little sarcastict or not but these were the games that really rocked.
