TG16 problem

Had to do a manual reinstall on version 26 or 27. When I go to play tg16 games I can select the game but when i hit play nothing happens. Was working before update. Works out side of GameEx. All games show up. Can click screenshot, etc and they all work. Just can't click play games. It highlights but thats it

Perhaps you could verify that the "Run Last Game.bat" file still works outside of GameEx. It's possible the command line got screwed up. If so, it won't work.

At work, but will check when I get home. Is there a seperate "run last game bat" for each emulator. I have 98 emulators on GameEx, and have checked about half of them and they all are running great so far but TG16.

Try exporting the emu config and re-importing into a new slot.

I have had very strange things happen that I can bever put my finger on.

Also the runlastgame.bat will show what you tried to last in gameex.

Not one for every emu.

No, the "run last game.bat" file is just that...the last game that you ran. Basically, you need to try running the game that failed, exit GameEx, run the batch file, and figure out what the problem is. We can help with the last part.

Just got home from work. Can't run any of the tg16 games. Can click the entry forever and it won't accept it. Last run game is for a different system. Can run all but TG16. Gonna try Brian's idea

Stand corrected, worked until i got out of computer and started GameEx up a second time. It appears its only happining on ini files that use Magic Engine. I run three seperate ini for SuperGrafx, Pc Engine and turbografx 16. One is attached. Would some one look at the ini file and see what I'm not seeing

OK, i wonder if thats the problem or bug in GameEx. Can you try not using the map file and see if then works fine. i know its not the fix, but will identify if thats the problem.

Yes some do some don't. When i removed tyhe map from pc-engine it lets me click the game but it goes to the magic engine frint end and doesn't run the game. I run my sega cd games from folder's on cd and map those. They are working fine

Removed map files from all three ini. Pc-engine now runs perfect. Other two still won't let me click to run a game

I found a common factor in ther ini that won't work.

In the game list you can highlight a game and see the snap. When you pick the game. The line with play game never gets the focus and you can't see the avi or snap. Any other choice shows the pic

Not a problem

When you scroll a list of games, a title is highlighted a snap or avi is shown. Once you pick a game and go to the next screen as you scroll and highlight you can see title, box etc.. When you highlight the line reading play the game, the picture or avi doesn't show

Well regardless, I can see the problem. You have 7-zip enabled. Since the 7-zip support now supports zips in the latest release, thats whats screwing up your config.
