Can GameEX Post folder pic's?

I am changing over form a X-box with XBMC to a PC. Love the way GameEx does video previews of stuff, but I would like to put Pic's/snap for the folders that i have all of my media divided up in to. Have looked in the form for a way to do this up to page 87. Did not find any thing that would help. I have a lot of Anime that I divided up in folders have tried putting jpegs about every where. With XBMC all you need to do this is place a pic in the folder and rename it folder. Does any one know if there is a way to have GameEx do the same thing?

Hi. I know you can do this with music albums in GameEX. That is - it will display album art if you called the jpg/png 'folder' or 'album'. I'm not sure about other types of media other than music.

I tryed putting pic about every where and even tryed to have pic of shortcut to each folder to get to my files. Named them the same as the folder and all so rename them as folder. Any other ideas?

Hi. You don't name the pics the same as album/folder for them to show up in jukebox. You literally named the pics 'folder' or 'album'. So say you had an album by Joy Division called 'Closer' - you would rename the pic of the album cover 'folder' without the quotes.

Is your version registered? Have not registered yet. Was wanting to make sure that it will do all the things that i am looking for. Tried the "folder" bit and it did not work for the video folders. any other idea out there?

Maybe it's not possible to preview videos if you have them in subfolders. Try putting a few avis in 'My Videos' folder and point GameEX to them using the Setup Wizard. When you go back into GamEX check out your videos - they should be listed on the right and when you scroll down each video it should preview each video (the preview should appear on the left). I'm not sure if this is a registered feature. You'll have to check the GameEX site. p.s. leave the videos with their proper name i.e. don't rename them folder or album.
