Hi All, I have just converted from Maximus to GameEx and so far I am very satisfied with it and did not hesitate to register.

Now I have managed to get my head around most of it thx to the forums and luck + bit of practice but I am stumped on one thing....

How the heck can I take a screenshot off a game that is currently launched so i can fill in the odd gaps I have got in my listings..... Maximus had an SS hotkey to do this... Has GameEx got the same feature ??

Thx for reading.

you should have a CREATE SNAPS button on the left of the screen.

That will do it :)

Doesn't that only do a batch... I already have 99% of the snaps, just missing the odd one so was hoping to just load it up, zap it with a screenshot key and hey presto its in the snaps directory for next time.

I do believe thers an option to only do whats left.

Besides you can always use the PRTSC button on your keyboard. open mspaint.exe and PASTE in the pic.

It should only do it for the ones you are missing, so yes it should work. ie it should skip what you have.

PrtScrn and Paste into paint will work but if it's a MAME game I find it easier to use F12 in-game. This will take a screenshot and place it in a subdirectory of your MAME folder and automatically name after the rom so it saves you a few steps vs. the PrtScrn method.
