Need to know how to compile with mame.124

Since Mame.124 is out, and I have gotten Brian to compile mine up to mame.123 u6.

What are the steps to compile the new mame .124

Just hoping to have a step by step so that I don't mess up what was previously done.

Download the mame 124 source. point the mame compilier to the directory.

Download the hi_124.diff from arcade controls. point to it then click patch.

(It may be a txt file so you will need to specify all files instead of just DIFF.)

Then compile. Then overwrite your MAME.exe with the new one.

I believe there were problems with mame.124, and they have a mame.124a now. I haven't verified this.

They had sound issues.. its resolved in 124a I believe the diff should still work tho
