I cant wait! How does it function? does it use DB's (like catergory)or does it require a keyboard?

As a cab user I love to know... Is there an onscreen keyboard?

So many questions.... :)

Just based on the text in the picture, I'm guessing that you press up/down to scroll through each letter. When ready to move on, you press the select button. So in this case, he would press up until he got to 'M', down to 'A', up to 'R', etc. The only question is whether it resets to 'A' after each letter. I like it!

My only question is whether this searches ALL roms (MAME, NES, Genesis, etc). Selecting MARIO, it looks like it pulled PC-10 games (MAME) as well as some SNES and NES games, so I'm pretty sure that's a big YES!!!

Yes, thats basically it. Accept you press select to release the search box and go to the menu, and your press right for next character.

Yeah, theres still plenty to keep us all interested, at least for a while :)

BKenobi: Yes it searches all games. Although I still need to do Daphne. It also searches all media including pdf ebooks, karaoke, and DVDs. The Media Library will also list all that now in the next release. Only thing it does not support is searching comic books. yet.

This looks great! I was hoping for searching across emulators which it looks like it will, but to also search multimedia is a terrific idea and a wonderful surpirse.
