Magic Engine - Demo Mode Problem

Hey guys. I have the unlocked version of Magic Engine and it runs just fine when I launch ME by itself. However, through GameEx, it launches roms in the Demo mode. I did a search on this forum and found the following post:

Unfortunately, after (backing up and) deleting all of the .ini and the pce.cfg files for PCE/Turbo in all GameEx AND ME folders, ME is still running in Demo mode through GameEx.

How do I fix this problem?
