Mame nag again

Hey all, I'm in the middle of my first build and I had this wonderful thought that I'd be able to have windows disappear and no nag screens in Mame. I donated to Gx so I now have one less nag.

I have read several post about removing the nags, however it is quite confusing as to what is the right vs of Mame and what patches to use.

any help would be much appreciated.

Mame 123 uses the Hiscore123 patch.

Use HK mame compilier found here. http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?showtopic=4375

Download mame source from official site. http://mamedev.org/release.html Tell the compilier the location

Actually compiling a 64-bit version on a dual core only takes about 5 minutes. But yeah prepare to wait about half an hour or so on single core's.

Or you could get a Quad. Compiles fresh Mame in about 1 Min 52 Secs
