Inconsistent matching of games to their emulator database entry

For some reason, games aren't always being matched up with their emulator database entries in the MS Access databases. This is mostly happening for Sega Saturn, Sega-CD and Sony Playstation titles. Even if the name of the ROM identically matches the GoodName of the entry in the .db, the entry data won't show up in GameEx. I find, however, that sometimes these titles will randomly work, while other titles will lose their matched database information, even if nothing has been changed.

Very interesting... Does changing themes have any effect?

No, but strangely, if I have the .db file open in Access at the same time, it causes some to work and others not too.

For instance, with the Saturn, if I don't have the .db open, "Astal" and "NiGHTS into Dreams" won't have their database info show up. If I do have it open, then they will work, but Burning Rangers and Shining the Holy Ark won't.

This was the problem I came across when I was working on the databases. There really isn't anything in the databases that would be causing this. The only solution I found is to try erasing the *.dbcache files in one of the gameex folders. That might help for some but it does not fix them all. I currently only have a problem with the raine database I made. But I'm not using any of those systems you mentioned.

I mentioned it to tom before, but im not sure if he ever looked into it.
