GameEx dies immediately upon starting

I just installed GameEx on a Windows XP SP2 MCE HTPC. High end PC, 1gb ram, ATI 2600 HD card, dual monitors, main LDC for console, secondary monitor is a 1080i plasma TV.

Regardless of how I try and start GameEx (run on second monitor or not) it dies immediately upon starting without any error that I can see. Here's my log, the relevant lines highlighted:

no idea...I don't see anything in your log file that gives any sort of hint as to why things are blowing up for you.

Yeah, its kinda driving me nuts. Starts the stops, no errors, nothing to indicate the problem. I may try reinstalling minus the MCE part and leave it standalone and see if that makes a difference.
