Weird looking filter when running laser disc games?

Guys,

When I run Dlair and Space Ace via Daphne on GameEX it looks like there is a video filter of some sort. The games dont look as clear as they do when using Daphne loader. Any ideas?

Gameex uses a command to define the video resolution when launching games.. Id be sure to set it at what you run your desktop at.

Brian, I checked it out and I am running GAME EX at the same resolution as the desktop. It just looks different than when I use Daphne Loader. No big deal, but any other ideas?

You may be running gameex at your desktop resolution but that has nothing to do with what command your throwing at daphne. Pay close attention to the snap shot Because there IS a section where you tell gameex to run at a specific resolution.

I checked the command line in GAME EX and the settings on my desktop and they both match. The graphics just dont look as clean as they do when I run through the Daphne Loader 1.1 Any other ideas? Is it the "- commands" in the GAME EX daphne section?

Well daphen is a commandline driven app all daphne loader does is create a command. So I know there is a way in daphne loader to see what command its actually passing. Post that here and Ill or someone here will tell you how to implement it in gameex.
