dvd codec?

hi dont want to be a dimwit but were can i get a free dvd codec

to use with gameex!!

p.s my cab pics will be comming soon, real arcade unit 2 player with 19" flat screen

sub woofer, 2 speakers, dvd drive. running full gamex features with mame and snes for the games.

and coin op mech, with 2 player........... so far it really is as good as it sounds

i just hope i havent screwed up the monitor removing the caseing and forcing it into the machine

I doubt it works with GameEx, but the only free DVD decoder I'm aware of is the DScaler DVD decoder. And I beleive it only plays unencrypted DVDs.

Reason you are unlikely to find a freeware decoder is because it requires royalties in order to playback CSS content.

You might have received a DVD decoder with your video card, though. My favorite decoder is the NVidia DVD decoder. It's cheap to purchase but unfortunately doesn't work with GameEx.

i found some software with codecs and they work with media player, but gameex wants you to specify were the codec is!! the problem is how the hell am i supposed to find this one codec?
