Theme crashing GameEx --> Help Requested

Recommended Posts

I downloaded some Themes from Night's Theme Site and was playing around with trying some of them to see what they were like. After applying a Theme from my list I am now unable to run GameEx with out it crashing, is there some way of manually editing GameEx to load with one of the default themes that is installed with GameEx, not a third party Theme. Below is my GameEx Log showing the error. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank You

I love GameEx.

From the error message, it looks like a resolution problem. Make sure you have a theme that matches your screen resolution.

You can go into Program Files-->GameEx-->Config and open up the GameEx config file and search for the Default theme. I think you can also set it in Program Files-->GamesEx-->Themes where there is an init file that sets the default. Just change the name to a theme you know works, 'Default' should work. Sorry I can't be more specific, don't have GameEx on this computer or handy but it's pretty easy to do, just search those config files. I had this happen a couple times when I set themes that had a res outside the range of my monitor.

Should be a quick fix, Good Luck!

Run the configuration wizard and search for theme. There is a drop down where you can pick whatever themes you have installed.
