I've just finished setting up pSX in GameEx, and all works fine. The problem is that games that require more than one disc show up that many times in GameEx, i.e Chrono Cross is a 2 disc game and shows up twice in the list in GameEx.

Is there anyway around this?

Map file...tho I'm not sure if thats ideal by any means.

Didnt think about map files, that would work with a bit of tinkering. How do I get my directory list of games into a txt file so I can edit it into a workable map file?

I dont have that problem. Please post your emulator config. Go the the gameex advanced configuration and go to PSX and click EXPORT. Post the contents here.

As far as getting a list of your games go to the command prompt.

click START>RUN> type CMD press enter

Navigate to the iso folder eg.. CD C:\PSX\GAMES\

Once there type DIR > mygames.txt

This will create a text file with your games listed in it.

It looks good.

You will see games that require 2 discs twice... And for games like FF7 you will see 3 times because it is a 3 disc game.

Once you finish the first disc you will load up the 2nd from Gameex and so on etc..

Ex FF7 cd1, ff7 cd2,ff7 cd3 is normal.

Happy gaming

It is untidy, but I just amend each name with the disc number. Like for FF7... Mine reads "Final Fantasy VII - Disc 2" and for previews I take one movie and snap from each game, copy it and rename them to include the Disc # as well. It honestly doesn't look that bad. ;)

If you really want to do it, you could put only one copy of the game up and rename the disc each time you advance so it only shows one title.
