Brian Hoffman
The first thing I notice is your path has spaces... So you need to use "" when specifying a path to a file that has spaces.....ChangeEMU_1_Command=jnes.exe [ROMPath]\[RomFile]toEMU_1_Command=jnes.exe "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]"so when it launches the game it will be like this.....jnes.exe "c:\my docs\my games\my rom.zip"Why you need quoteswhen specifying command line arguments it will stop..by default before the carrotc:\my^ docs\my games\my rom.zipThefore ending the command... Dos doesnt understand spaces very well. Also I would use nestopia... I think its better..Happy gaming

flpennstater
Ty Brian for getting me all fixed up last night So how did you finally fix this? I have the same problem. I was having the problem with zsnes but changing show desktop fixed it. Gens just gives me the black screen. I've looked at a bunch of configs and don't know why mine isn't working.I'm trying to use the following emulators: zsnes, gens, stella, nestopia, project64I wish gameex would just default to the right settings. I'm running windows xp. I don't know why my set up would be any different than the typical one.
Nologic
Frankly I've never gotten Gens to work or any of its siblings....Surreal works...but stays in memory for me.I'd suggest switching over to Kega Fusion instead for Sega. You'll run into issues when using an Emu that makes use of OpenGL render's...there are ways around this issue...I'm just somewhat slow at providing them currently...till such a point you'll likely be forced to show the Desktop. There is some trial and error involved with things currently...but there always will be to some degree...but I'm working on resolving a number of these hurdles. So hang in there...there is hope.
