monitor on game cab changed all of a sudden..

i've had my arcade cab setup with gamex working great for 4-5 months.. so all of a sudden when i turn it on today the screen is out of place.. there are 2 black bars on the left and right of the monitor about an inch wide.. The monitor is a Kortek 27" multi sync.. it doesnt matter what resolution i put the monitor to, degauss it, or stretch it, there are still these bars on the left and right.. i tried unplugging everything to maybe reset something but no luck.. is there a hard reset anywhere for the monitor, or anything else i can do to get back to how it was previously?
