How to update gamelist - other tham mame

I know how to update mame gamelist, but how do I update the atari, NES, etc gamelist

Right now i have 1943 as the first game in NES then a select bar that is blank and does nothing, then the rest of the games.

I had the same in mame until I updated the list.

help?

Within the emulator game lists, the recently played games show at the top then a space then your complete list. To disable displaying the recently played games you need to turn off the "Show last played" option in the emulator setup.

Sorry, but the "recenylt played" link you showed isn't the trouble that I'm having.

My NES, Atari, N64 GAME LISTS show the first game in the gamelist, then I have a BLANK select bar then the rest of the games are listed...I need to update the game list so that the BLANK select bar is removed...

or something to remove it.

No, he is correct. The blank bar you are seeing has nothing to do with updating the list. It is a seperator to show you what the last games played are. Play another different game and you will see it will go on top of that blank bar as well.

If you really want to force a new list to be created then you have to go to the data folder in gameex and you will see

emu1.map

emu1.dbcache

emu2.map

emu2.dbcache

etc.

delete all those and then gameex will re-cache the list next time you go to those emulators. It will not fix your problem though.
