Bug?

Not sure if its a bug or its supposed to do it, but when you select a game through Category, year, or manufacturer and then go back to previous page to look for a different game it will take you to the whole list, not the category or what not that you were searching from.

I'd say its a bug...but I'm not the dev...so it could be a feature.

I think also the Delete game Data in the admin section the advanced config is not working right. It doesnt seem to clear my most played or statistics. Only the mame list has to be rebuilt afterwards.

I know about the delete game data, thats a legacy issue as we went to a proper database driven system a little while back as opposed to my initial text file based bodge!. In terms of your first post, its sounds like a bug, but are your referrring to MAME or another system?

It happens with all systems I believe. I think it is a theme issue after playing with it a little. I generally use the MCE Glossy theme and do have that issue. I went to the MCE video Backround theme last night for the hell of it and noticed it was not happening. Sure enough when I went back to MCE glossy the problem came back. It also does happen on the regular MCE theme. It was late and I didnt do more testing. I wish I went back to the video backround theme again to try.

Yes, delete it, then just install gameex again to put back the empty database.

Thanks, Ill just remove the info from it.

Heres what I found about no going back in the cache properly.

It only seems to work properly on any theme that has a fullscreen snap/video.

The themes that do not have the full screen snap/video backround do not work properly.

You must actually go to the game info for it to not go back properly. Just going to a list of action games and pressing back will take you back to the category list properly, but when you select an action game to see the info, then press back, it wont take you to a list of action games. It will take you to the whole list for the emulator.

Hopefully that will help. Can anyone else confirm this? or is it my system only.
