Dreamcast Non Bootable Games

I've managed to get nulldc working within gameex using CDI images with no problems (ok a few but I'm there now). I've now come across a few games which are in bin/cue format, I'm assuming these are games that require a boot disc or to be made self-booting??? I've tried 'bin2boot' with zero success.

So my question is, What do you guys use?/How do you do it?

These games in question might be enchlon releases that have intros before the game loads.. If so nulldc has issues with these... I though null dc can boot up these non self booting games..just not a real dc.. unless you have the utopia boot disc.

There are a few enchlon releases which do work but, they primarily are not the ones I'm having problems with. Some are in bin/cue format, these I cant get to boot, what option should I choose when using these with nulldc? I dont have the utopia boot disc, how does that work with gameex? (disc swapping etc)

It doesnt work with gameex.. I was only mentioning it for the real dc hardware...

Have you tried converting the bin/cue to CDI ? I would mount the bin/cue with either deamon tools or alcohol and then use discjuggler or cdrwin to convert to CDI..

I haven't tried converting them yet, I'll give it a shot and see what happens.

I thought that a very large majority of DC games have already been converted to self boot? I've never had to use Utopia to play any burned image on my DC, and I still use mine at least once a week. I have tested this with at least 100 different games...
