OK, my problem is a fairly simple one, and I'm hoping there's a simple answer, as I love this program.

Basically, my Media Centre setup involves a PC (with monitor) in one room and my television is connected to it in a separate room. Using Media Centre simply involves sitting on the lounge and pointing the remote - everything appears full screen on my TV.

Everything except GameEx. Selecting My Games from the main menu closes the Media Centre main window and opens the GameEx window - on my computer monitor in the other room. I can select a game on that screen, but then I must run back into my lounge room to actually play the game which runs on the TV - just like everything else in Media Centre.

I have an ATI Radeon X1950Pro, and have the display set up as an extended desktop, as this allows one person to use the PC in one room, while another uses Media Centre in the lounge room.

And here's the weird thing. If I take GameEx out of full screen mode (ALT+Enter), I cannot even drag the program window to the other screen - this is the only program I have ever had that problem with. Including games. It just stops at the edge of the computer monitor. I have selected / deselected the option to use the secondary monitor in the GameEx configuration program, but with no luck.

I can't be the only person who has had this problem. Can I? Does anybody have any ideas? I am running the latest ATI drivers, Windows (Vista Ultimate) is fully up to date, and I have the most recent release of GameEx.

If somebody could help me with my problem, I'd be extremely happy.

I tried that with both options, and no effect. Every time I ran GameEx it appeared on monitor 1 only.

Not sure if this is the best solution...but you can always tell tell it to do a CLONE desktop instead of extend desktop.

I know - but that takes away the functionality of the PC. As it stands, I can use the PC for work and pleasure at the same time. Although I wouldn't be doing that if I was gaming, so it may have to do.

But changing it back and forth is a hassle.

Thanks for the suggestions anyway. I guess it's just one of those things - it's difficult to test the software on every type of hardware it's going to be running on, and my setup is obviously not standard.
