GameEx is 3 tomorrow

Hey folks, just a little bit of useless info.

The first fully public release of GameEx was released 3 years tomorrow.

For a bit of nostalgia, here are the first 5 GameEx news releases. It was purely a simple MAME front end and nothing else.

6th September 2004 - Version 0.51 of GameEx available.

Several minor fixes.

5th September 2004 - Version 0.50 of GameEx available.

HideOS.exe (which hides the desktop when launching games), will now run on version 1.0 of the .net framework as well as 1.1.

Fixed attract mode on Windows 98.

Several minor fixes.

4th September 2004 - Version 0.49 of GameEx available.

Bug Fix: now works with windows 98, ME.

Bug Fix: Now works with Roms in folders.

Added attract mode/screensaver.

Great to see the dedication you've put into this project. One of the things that makes GameEx so great, in my eyes, are the huge amount of customizable features it holds, while still keeping it easy to setup.

Many of the features I now take for granted, I would have never thought of myself.

Hey, I want to install gameex on another person's computer and want to buy a license for them. What's the dillleyhoo on how to go about doing that so they get registered features? I would be using my same email account to make the purchase for them.
