I bought a Gamestop DDR pad and a Twin USB adapter. Does anyone have a keymapping file for the ddr games?

I have the arrows mapped but which buttons are A, B, X, Y, Back & Start?

I'd download a manual from mobygames.

Optionally Iam suprised that it doesnt say with the pads manual... I'am assuming your are using an emulator. hmm does the gameex usage or twin USB adaptor give it away?!? Plug in dance pad.. Goto controlpanel,Game Controller,Propertys..

Grab a pen and paper.. Write down what button lights up when you press the pad keys...

Ok launch your emu... Im assuming you have a PSX PAD already configured.. If not Configure one... Launch the emu.. define the controls. lets say X is button 2(on the joy pad)...Refer to your notes for the pad key you pressed when button 2 lit up...

Thats it

Oh I see.. You never mentioned mame.... I thought you might be using a psx emu....

What does it say when you look at controls through gameex?

You mean the control panel view? There isn't one when I start this rom, but I do see them with most of my others.

Hmmm... Well I guess the next thing to do is go back to controlpanel> game controllers>propertys>

See what buttons light up ---eg 1 through 8... Write it down.

Go to mame it puts button 1-8 in order.. Play the game and write what each button does...

You will more than likely have to be familiar with the actual game.. Once you know what each button does which action..

Redefine the controls,

Im sorry.. I wish I can help more... I'm 26 and wouldnt be caught dead on one of those things..

I'd sugest takinkg 10 min and figuring it out. I know this has been a issue now for a couple hours...

I'll still try and dig something up... But id be faster to just do it.

Maybe there is somthing @ byoc arcade controls

Thanks for your help... I have done what you suggest and I know it is pretty close. This is for my daughter and I too wouldn't be caught dead on it... (but I did have to use it to map the controls)

It's not perfect... but close enough I guess.
