GameEx causing complete system crash and restart

Hi everyone. So far with my limited experience with your program ive found GameEx to be a terrific and very sleak product. However trying to get this program to work on my computer is giving me a significant headache. I have no problem getting the program up and running and running well for a few minutes but if I spend any more than two minutes in the menu my computer seems to overheat and shut down. Granted my computer is just above the minimum system requirements I have never had this problem with any other programs. My computer is an Athelon 1.2 Ghz with 512 Ram and a ATI Radeon 9300. What can I do on the software side to fix this problem? Are there some settings i can change to prevent my computer from overheating.

Also if I ever get this program working without it entirely crashing my computer is there a way to set up my game controller to enable you to exit Mame or emulated games with the push of a button?

Well your pc overheating is not a gameex issue and yes mame is able to be exited and you can enable gameex map keys to exit emus with a controller key combo so you are in luck!

As far as your pc overheating try adding some additional fans... You know the 4 inch ones to add exaust and it you can one sucking air in.. Maybe one blowing on the video card... I have 4 fans in my pc... I have a bfg geforce 6800 Oc that puts out ALOT of heat.. Gameex wouldnt lock it up but some high end FPS used too.. Untill I added those fans.

Also under performance settings you can set it to reduce CPU usage.
