The key remapping is a great feature. However, it didn't work perfectly for me. I had problems getting the "back" button to work. But maybe that's a system specific problem as I was running a little low on system resources when I did the testing?

Anyhow, in the "Scancodes.txt", could you please write " ( " or " < " instead of "LeftBracket". Because I'm not to sure which one you mean. And I don't think I will be alone at being confused by this.

hmm this is interesting.

under "Gamepad device to use" menu i see way more controllers than i have connected.

i have currently and properly installed

(only standard Windows HID drivers, no pad software of any kind is installed)

and whatever i select, if i press Save and go back to input menu, it shows the first Adaptoid selected. so somethings wrong

edit: the usual Adaptoid is working in GameEx...

I want to use a Super Smartjoy 2 please

edit: w00t! If i manually type "Super Smartjoy 2" into the config, i get the Super Smartjoy working first time!. so its an issue with the configurator/your reading of gamepads not GameEx.

The Adaptoid seems to show up like that in some apps but it has been a while since I have seen that. I think it is because the Adaptoid acts as multiple devices (mouse and etc)

they have 2 axes and 14 buttons, that's all.

It was a bug in the config app.

NO what I meant was that when you plug the Adaptoid in it auto installs several devices, lieka HID compliant this HID compliant that etc... even without the proper drivers.

Now that you've got code to deal with multiple controllers, would it be possible to make it so GameEx accepts input from ANY controller if one isn't selected?

We have an arcade stick and gamepad, both set up as player 1 in MAME. Would be nice if either one could be used to move around in GameEx's menus.

ok, so, i have one gamepad controlling GameEx (a super smartjoy).

now what if i want to allow two gamepads to control GameEx (one of the Super Smarjoys and one of the Adaptoids)

is this possible? would be cool so people could use whichever type they are holding to play the games.
