Menu animations

Is there a way to completely turn off the menu animations?

Im trying to put gameex on a older laptop. PIII 600 with 96mb ram. It runs all the emus fine, but the gameex menus are soooo slow..... I already did all the standard config tweaks.

Not Currently, but the thing you probably have not done is turn off AniBak = in the theme.ini of the theme your using. This can make a big differene on old gfx cards.

What exactly does that do, Im going to try it on the laptop later (I put a different hard drive in to try and set it up with win98)

But I looked on my normal HTPC with all new fast stuff and it is set to false. Should I set it to true?
