i had a inet downtime last night where i couldnt get online and wanted to fizzle alittle around in GameEx but it took way over a minutte to start and thought ok

it might be the Game Extender there make GameEx hang alittle trying to connect so i went into the config but that took also over a minutte to load so i was wondering are GameEx trying to connect to something when you start it ??

becouse after my inet got back it started up in a flash ....

The Game extender will report back here and tell gameex what games you run the most...the least.. and send snaps....

Just check gameex LIVE on the main page... If you do not want this... Disable game extender publish to server.

Its kinda entertaining to see how many users watch p0rn through gameex...

Hope this gives a little insight.

I can't duplicate the problem. I disabled my network card, and GameEx loaded as normal. Any networking is done on low priority background threads, so GameEx should load as normal. It certainly does not wait for a connection or anything. So really not sure what was going on. Maybe you needed a reboot?

Do you have wifi connectivity enabled?

You can always install Wireshark... Its a packet sniffer and you can see what packets are being sent.. from where and to.. And what they contain.

You might need to set Internet Explorer back to default settings. Maybe you got something bad. Delete history, cookies, web page saves. This I would try first. This could cause a load time.

If you are talking about loading Gameex, it could be a result of how many opening movies you have, or how big it is when entering gameex. That can cause a load time.

Use the setup wizard and verify setup to check for errors, that can slow down Gameex. Fix them.
