mount iso images with emulator

is it possible to mount an iso-cd-image while starting the emulator with gameex and unmounting it by ending the game?

i think it could be possible with the launchbefore- and launchafter-option. but i have no experiences in starting programs with scripts. this would be helpful for playing pc-engine CDs with magic engine.

Try using this http://home.comcast.net/~cpviewer/download...necdwrapper.zip . Make sure to edit the config file for your paths and it should work. Do not use the launch before or after though use:

Command=MagicEngineCDWrapper.exe "[rompath]\[romfile]"

is it possible that magicengine has big problems with CD-games?

when i launch an iso-image with daemontools i see only the titlescreen and then magicengine crushes, while hugo plays the whole game (with bad sound ).

but even if i burn the image on a real cd ive got the same problem

You can use Nero (or many other any CD burning programs) to burn an .ISO. Just use the "Burn image" option.

Or, get a copy of Daemon Tools

Which creates a virtual CD drive, that you can mount the ISO in. Then you can either play it, or use your CD burning software's CD copy function.

Agreeing with Rob, You might want to get Daemon tools or some other program to mount the image before you burn. If are having problems you might have a bad image file. Mounting and running it first is an easy way to pinpoint where your problem is at.
