Hi, being very new to this, I'm wondering if someone can help me

I can't find on here how you auto-load the .ipc file at start up of Gameex using Winipac.

A couple of threads touch on the subject, but don't explain the 'basics', or they probably do and it's me being thick.

Can anyone explain in 'idiot terms' how this is done, do you use GameEx to launch this facility, Mame or Winipac ?

Or do you have to write some sort of lauch code in a text file and rename it .ini or .bat or something ?

And if you do where do you place this file ?

The model I've got is a mini-pac, I can get it working OK, but have to load the file manually at every start.

Even better, if someone can send me a config file or something.

Appreciate any information that can help me.

Thanks.

Try this. If its for an emulator. Use something similar to this in your (Also Launch field) "C:\Program Files\WinIPAC\epsxe.bat" Do not use the quotes!

The contents of this *.bat file is "C:\Program Files\WinIPAC\WinIPAC.exe" C:\Program Files\WinIPAC\psx.ipc

Us the quotes in the *.bat file. You have to make separate *.ipc files with your button configs.
