Hi Katuuuz. Have you tried using fraps to capture your avi ? It's very good and seems easy enough to use.

actually i can't figure out how to use it. i'm not sure it has anything to do with camtasia (being seemingly more extensive than fraps is) it may have to do with the video codec? it records the audio but displays a black screen. (plus i'm not registering fraps for $37 when i only need it to make one video.. ((unregistered videos have a fraps watermark in the corner)).

thanks though.

ok i got it working, but it seems a teency bit choppy... good enough, just hoped the experts would have made the dl2 video.

Have you tried Circo's site Emumovies ? If you can't find it there it might be worth sending him a pm - he may have what you're looking for.

yeah i've purchased thsoe a while ago now, and dl2 isn't included... and yes i've tried contacting him several times about it. interestingly enough also the classic super metroid isn't included in the snes batch either.

There is a demo video (vob) from Digital Leisure you could dl and convert it to an avi. But it is just a intro and has no gameplay but it's better than nothing i suppose.

How does it play outside gameex?

well it's workign now, weird. although sometimes while playing in gameex it will cut from the video and display a frozen title screen with the audio still running in the background, then after a few seconds it goes back to playing video.

Try adding RAM to your system...Sounds like a resource issue...

Id reboot the system... Then check it out, If it still persists make sure no programs are running in the backround,..

Then buy the memory
