24-bit color instead of 32-bit

Game-ex tries to boot into 32-bit color, however my arcade machine only goes up to 24-bit at the moment (getting a better video card soon.)

I put it in 16-bit but dont like the scrappy broken look that some of the GameEx images have. Is there a way I can force it to use the 24-bit color depth?

No, not at the moment.

Actually I forget there is a way.

In latest versions you can make GameEx run at the current windows resolution and depth and not switch resolutions. The setting is under Display Settings.
