Mess & Turbo Graphics 16 Problem

im trying to set up turbo Graphics 16 in Gameex the Problem im having is,

when i select a game of the list in gameex it just plays the last played turbo Graphics 16 game i played in mess no matter what i pick in gameex

Are we to assume you can run the roms from the command line outside of GameEx without issue?

just tried and it does the same thing as when in gameex just plays the last game played when i used messgui.exe

i have no idea whats going on

made a bat file containg the following

cd C:\Documents and Settings\Michael\Desktop\Consoles and roms setup\mess0106b
pause
mess.exe tg16 -cart "Aero Blasters - (US).pce"
pause

i copied a game" Aero blasters" to the same path as mess.exe to make it easier for testing

sorted the problem just got newer version of mess thanks for the help will
