keyboard (not mame)

i just tried playing a game of dragon's lair, and my arcade controls aren't functioning in it. i programmed the keystrokes, but can only make it respond by pressing the buttons on my alternate keyboard. even though my cp is programmed to hit the keys i'm hitting on the keyboard, it's not registering for some reason. WHY IS THIS NOT AS EASY AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE THE 2ND TIME AROUND?!

but i guess that's what makes it worth while in the end.

if it is the case, is there a way to make my ipac the main keyboard? because in mame for instance the cp registers as keyboard 1 while the keyboard is keyboard 0. so i'm guessing that means the cp is like secondary in daphne or something.

nevermind, i'm stupid. i forgot to change the coin 1 coin 2 - 1 start 2 start in daphne loader. i'm a genius i tell you.
