hey everyone, i've had a dvd with dragon's lair 2 framefile, and roms that i bought for the longest time and never could get it to work in daphne. i've gone to their forums but they have it set up where you can't post a new thread without the moderators screening it for some foolish reason... a forum's a forum. anyways, anyone with daphne knowledge, and or anyone who has DL2 running on daphne (and gameex of course) please fill me in.

Ive got a build of daphne that lets you run it I'll upload it if you dont have it(unless it isn't allowed). Do you have the ROMS/MV2(video file) along with framefiles?

MODS can I upload the emu?

As long as there's no ROMs included, I see no problem with uploading the emulator.

will it run DL1, Space Ace, Cobra Command, and Thayer's Quest also? I'll take it either way, but don't want to have 2 daphne emulators.

In this case, it's not the roms that are an issue (as you get them with the standard download from Daphne-emu), but the video files in an authorized format: that is, you also get the video files from in the Daphne-emu download - but you need a Digital Leisure disc to authorize them. Any of the other games, including Cobra Command, are available in the download.

Back to the program its an...Ahem..private beta.

Ok...Here is the deal I had a really hard time uploading this due to the 2mb limit so its in two parts. Also its not a ZIP file its a RAR file. I had to change the extention to zip so it would allow me to upload. Rename and extract with WINRAR.. Hope I didnt bend the rules too much.

so enoch, you're saying DL2 won't work? I don't have the "original" disc. I sent away at mamedvds.com for DL, DL2, Space Ace, Cobra Command, and Thayer's Quest. All of which work fine, except for DL2. It says it can't find the framefile, nor roms. I havn't tried the private beta yet, but why do all the other games play without the d.leisure disc?

Well Daphne 1.0 supports the ability to play from the disc directly. It automaticly dowlnloads all files from digital leisure.

What you have is an older version of daphne that doesn't do this and requires to have these files (A RIP of the GAME/S VIDEO and ROMS and a FRAME FILE that says where the begining of the game sequences is.

Im not sure if daphne ever supported DL2 before this new build and I believe is a touchy subject to ask for support on.

(I don't know why they took it out - says 'for lack of complete version' or some shit like that - but it looks good to me. I also have Firefox and Freedom Fighter - the latter of which I don't think I've even ever seen - and have no idea why those aren't in Daphne at all, as they came with the .99 download. And I'm waiting for Cube Quest.

which .99 emulator? they have like 10 named 99.
