Gamepad stops working in VirtuaNES after a couple minutes

New Gameex user, just donated and in the process of setting everything up.

Couldn't get Nestopia to work, so I switched to VirtuaNES. I thought I had it all configured, but then when my son started playing a game the gamepad (rumblepad 2) would stop taking user input. Retried with a number of games and they all do the same thing, after a couple minutes the gamepad input stops working.

I can run VirtuaNES outside of gameex and the gamepad works fine.

If anyone else has run into this and fixed it, or has recommendations of things to try to correct the problem please let me know.

Can you upload your log file (program files/GameEx/LOG/log.txt). It might tell us what's going on.

I use FCE ULTRA.. no issues and works great.

Does rumble pad 2 mean 2nd player? If so then does 1st player still work?

are you using XPADDER or joytokey? or does emu accept joypad? You can also try redefining your keyin emu to keystrokes then use xpadder? This maybe more reliable.
